Data Recovery on Seagate NAS

 

 

 

Recently we recovered data from a customer’s Seagate NAS drive.   The NAS drive is basically a desktop drive inside a casing which then allows it to be connected to a Network.

 

Once extracted. the drive which contained backups of photos and emails was analyzed by our PC3000 system which identified some bad firmware modules that prevented the drive from getting ready.  Using the advanced Acelabs system, we were able to retrieve a good copy of the modules from another backup buried in the drive and repair the drive allowing us to get access to the user data and complete the

recovery!  Again, we couldn’t have done this without the amazing PC3000 system from Acelabs!
